- Before the Storm:
- Coordinate move of all loose items off of the porch, balcony, or lanai.
- Cover plants and exterior exposed pipes.
- Ensure that all doors and windows are locked, and shutters or storm screens are secure.
- Visual of whole-property inspection and photographic documentation.
- Remove ice from ice maker & remove perishable items from fridge.
- Unplug anything unnecessary
- After the Storm:
- Survey of the exterior and roof (from ground)
- Inspection of entire interior for damage, leaks or general concerns.
- Document, photograph, and report any concerns/issues immediately.
- Assist with coordinating restoration plans by putting you in touch with trusted local partners.
