What is Home Watch?
Home Watch plays a crucial role in helping homeowners ensure safety, security, and maintenance of their properties while they are away. Here at Broward Home Watch we pride ourselves on taking home watch services to the next level. From mail retrieval to home maintenance and car driving services, BHW tailors its services to your home needs.
Our team are home watch academy graduates, insured and bonded for Home Watch Visits. As a team of two First Responders, we are committed to keeping homes safe and building a team that values the importance of caring for your home.
What We are Looking For
Broward Home Watch provides a variety of home watch and concierge services . We are looking for highly motivated individuals as well as dependable, flexible, and responsible individuals who are ready to grow with us and our company.
Responsibilities
Home Watch Reporters are responsible for regularly visiting and reporting on the status, condition, and security of residential properties while homeowners are away. This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Property Visits: Schedule and conduct thorough visits of both interior and exterior areas of the property. Ensure all is in order and there are no signs of damage or intrusion.
- Security Checks: Verify doors, windows, garage, and all entry points are securely locked and undamaged. Check foreigns of forced entry or attempted break-ins.
- Monitor Utilities: Check that all utlities (gas, water, and electricity) are running properly and report any leaks and/or abnormalities.
- Environmental Monitoring:
- Monitor the property for signs of environmental damage such as water leaks, mold growth, pest infestations, and weather-related damage.
- Use appropriate equipment to measure and check the temperature levels inside property and the humidity.
- Take proactive measurements to address and provide a solution for any issues that may arise.
- Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to respond to emergencies such as fires, floods, or security breaches. Maintain contact with emergency services and follow established protocols for reporting and handling emergencies.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of each visit including observations, findings, and any action taken. These detailed reports ar to be submitted to homeowners regularly.
- Report any issues or damages found and connect with appropriate channels to resolve for the homeowner.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with property owners as well as any vendors when necessary.
- Customer Service: Service the customer to the absolute best of our ability. Providing good service means keeping in contact with homeowners regularly to ensure their home is in the best hands while they are away.
- Confidentiality: We protect the privacy and security of our homeowners by keeping all details about the home confidential.
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to travel various residential properties located within the Tri-County areas.
- Problem Solver. Able to react and take care of issues and/or emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
- Strong Communication
- Team Player, able to work with others.
- Background Check: A thorough background check will be conducted on all candidates considered for this position.
- Background check will encompass criminal history, employment verification, and any relevant professional qualifications.

Positions Available: Full-time and Part Time
Shifts Available: Monday – Sunday, Weekends as needed.
