• Exterior check of grounds, landscape, pests, lawn and sprinklers
• Visual exterior checks including roof (from ground), lights, screens, windows, AC units, fence, etc.
• Run water through each sink, tub, shower, and flush toilets to prevent traps from drying out (allowing sewer gases into your home)
• Check windows, doors, garage doors and all appliances are working properly
• Inspection for any leaks, apparent mold, rodent or pest infestation, unusual odors, and more
• Check closets, pantry and storage cabinets
• Check AC and thermostat settings
• Lanai and Pool Area:
  • Check water level and condition of water
  • Check equipment and pool control panel
  • Contact outside pool service if needed
• Check screen door, screening and cage structure
• Locking Up: “Look. Listen. Lock.”

Before the Storm:

• Coordinate move of all loose items off of the porch, balcony, or lanai.
• Cover plants and exterior exposed pipes.
• Ensure all doors in addition to windows, shutters, garage doors, and storm screens are locked and secured.
• Visual of whole-property inspection and photographic documentation.
• Remove ice from ice maker & remove perishable items from  fridge.
• Unplug anything unnecessary

After the Storm:

• Survey of the exterior and roof (from ground)
• Inspection of entire interior for damage, leaks or general concerns.
• Document, photograph, and report any concerns/issues immediately. 
• Assist with coordinating restoration plans by putting you in touch with trusted local partners.

Leave the hassle of mail and package retrieval to us. We will collect all mail and any packages that arrive. In addition, we can either forward them to where you currently reside or keep your deliveries safe and organized until your return.
