Storm Preparedness

Living in Florida, we know the importance of storm preparedness. Before and during severe weather events, we ensure that your property is adequately secured, reducing potential damage.

  • Before the Storm:
  • Coordinate move of all loose items off of the porch, balcony, or lanai.
  • Cover plants and exterior exposed pipes.
  • Ensure that all doors and windows are locked, and shutters or storm screens are secure.
  • Visual of whole-property inspection and photographic documentation.
  • Remove ice from ice maker & remove perishable items from fridge.
  • Unplug anything unnecessary

  • After the Storm:
  • Survey of the exterior and roof (from ground)
  • Inspection of entire interior for damage, leaks or general concerns.
  • Document, photograph, and report any concerns/issues immediately. 
  • Assist with coordinating restoration plans by putting you in touch with trusted local partners.
